SweHealth sells muscle stimulators / TENS for athletes and keep-fit enthusiasts
How a muscle stimulator works
For more than 30 years we have known that electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) has clear effects on the muscles, local circulation and pain in the musculoskeletal system – a fact that athletes all over the world make use of, above all for recovery and rehabilitation.
The four most important effects of a muscle stimulator are:
1. Increased local circulation: used to increase local blood flow, for example during recovery.
2. Pain relief (TENS): used for both acute and long-term pain.
3. Muscle relaxation: used to help tense muscles relax.
ThemeId=260)
